Note: The generated QR code is dynamic and auto-updates if you modify instructions last-minute.

Steps to follow:

  1. Open the **Sitter** tab.
  2. Tap **Create Pass**.
  3. Fill out the panels: Pets to Board, Logistics & House rules, and Emergency contacts.
  4. Input the sitting date ranges and tap **Generate SitterPass** to render the QR code.
Tip: You can add the SitterPass directly to Apple Wallet to display it instantly from the Lock Screen.

Note: All pass data is encoded directly into the QR code using Apple's CoreImage API. No remote servers or cloud databases are used, ensuring a completely offline, secure exchange.

Steps to follow:

  1. In the Sitter tab, tap the lock icon labeled **Pass Security**.
  2. Toggle sharing permissions: Weight history, Medical treatments, Full health book, Home address.
  3. Set an optional expiration date to deactivate the pass automatically after your trip.
  4. Tap **Apply Settings** to secure the pass.
Tip: We recommend hiding your home address if your pet is being boarded at the sitter's house.

Steps to follow:

  1. The pet sitter opens the OmniaVet app on their iPhone.
  2. In the Sitter tab, they open the scanner and align the lens with the SitterPass QR code on your device screen.
  3. The app processes the QR code locally using Apple's AVFoundation and imports the profile data directly into the sitter's SwiftData store.
  4. The sitter can now browse the complete care routine and emergency contacts offline on their own device.
Tip: The app saves the imported pet profile locally on the sitter's device for immediate lookups during walks.
