Note: The emergency quick dial feature works offline to call locally stored telephone numbers.

Steps to follow:

  1. From the Home tab, tap the red **EMERGENCY** button (or tap your emergency home screen widget).
  2. To call your configured emergency vet clinic, tap **Call Vet**.
  3. To locate open veterinary hospitals near you, check the interactive Map view.
  4. The app provides directions and routing details to get there immediately.
Tip: Set up your preferred emergency clinic's phone number in Settings before an incident occurs.

Export a high-res PDF alert poster with contact info and description if your pet gets lost.

Note: Keep profile photos updated so that any generated poster shows a recognizable image of your pet.

Steps to follow:

  1. Go to Tools and select **Lost Pet Poster**.
  2. Select the missing pet. OmniaVet automatically loads their photo, age, breed, and chip ID.
  3. Enter details: last seen location, date, and optional reward amount.
  4. Tap **Generate PDF**. The app builds a high-res printable poster you can print (via AirPrint) or share instantly on social media.
Tip: The generated poster contains a QR code allowing finders to message you securely without exposing your phone number.

Trigger the OmniaVet emergency workflow using voice commands and iOS Siri shortcuts.

Note: Siri App Intents integration requires iOS 17 or later to interface with OmniaVet's intents engine.

Steps to follow:

  1. Launch the native iOS **Shortcuts** app on your iPhone or iPad.
  2. Tap **+** in the top right to create a new shortcut, then tap **Add Action**.
  3. Search for **OmniaVet** and choose the **Trigger Emergency Mode** action.
  4. Save your shortcut. You can now invoke 'Hey Siri, OmniaVet Emergency' to dial your emergency contact hands-free.
Tip: You can add this voice shortcut as a widget on your iPhone Home Screen or Lock Screen.
